Net Asset Value (NAV) of a particular scheme refers to the value of the net assets of the scheme. This value is derived by subtracting the net liabilities of a scheme from its net assets. Dividing the scheme's total NAV by the number of outstanding units on the valuation date gives the per unit NAV. NAV keeps varying on a daily basis and indicates the performance of a particular scheme.
