What is a Switch?

Certain Mutual Fund schemes provide the investors with an option to shift their investment from one scheme to another within the fund house. This act of shifting funds from one scheme to another is known as a switch. By opting for a switch, investors can transfer the complete amount or a part amount to another scheme. Also, the fund house may levy a switching fee on the investor.
